Meet Samantha Campanella

Hi, I’m Samantha.

LCSW, LCADC

Samantha Campanella profile

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of South Carolina (2014) and a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University (2015). I began my career as a case manager for a supportive housing program at an outpatient mental health agency before focusing on oncology. Since then, I’ve worked extensively with adults in outpatient oncology settings, supporting individuals from the onset of illness through end-of-life care, as well as providing therapy in private practice.

My approach to therapy is person-centered—I prioritize compassion, openness, and authenticity in the therapeutic relationship. I value each client’s unique needs and tailor my techniques accordingly. I integrate a variety of evidence-based modalities into my practice, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief, and major life transitions.

As a passionate and creative clinician, my ultimate goal is for you to leave our sessions feeling empowered, understood, and more confident in your ability to face life’s challenges.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my dog, Ivy. I love going to the beach, reading, listening to music, and exploring new restaurants in the area.
